“We're a 14-franchisee mortgage network across Ontario and BC. Building our own portal was quoted at $1.2M plus $35K/month to maintain. Mortgage Squad Advisors is licensed at a fraction of that, and our franchisees are already using it. We rebadge and resell at our own retail.”
— Sundeep K., Founder, Major Canadian Mortgage Network
How does the franchisor-franchisee billing work?
We invoice the franchisor at the wholesale per-seat rate ($79/seat/month for the entire network). The franchisor sets retail to franchisees and keeps the spread. You can mark up to whatever your franchise agreement supports — typical retail is $129-199/seat.
Can each franchisee have their own brand?
Yes — within the rules you set as franchisor. You define what franchisees can override (their own logo, colours, custom domain) vs what stays at the franchisor level (legal name, FSRA license disclosure, master service URL). Full control with sensible defaults.
What about CRM integrations?
Each franchisee connects their own Scarlett / Filogix credentials. The portal stays consistent; the underwriting tools stay independent. Franchisees who don't have a CRM use the built-in workflow.
Master billing reconciliation?
One monthly invoice to the franchisor for the entire network. We provide a per-franchisee breakdown for your accounting. You pay us once; you collect from franchisees on your terms.
Implementation timeline?
Typical 30-day implementation: Week 1: contract + legal. Week 2: branding + custom domain. Week 3: franchisee onboarding training. Week 4: full network rollout. We assign a dedicated partnership manager.
Can we customize functionality for our network?
Custom contracts include a roadmap of platform changes negotiated up front. Common asks: custom report templates, network-specific lender preferences, internal commission split logic. All possible.
What's the minimum commitment?
Annual contract. Minimum 25 seats across the network at signing — we want partners who are committed to making this work, and 25 seats is the threshold where the math makes sense for both sides.
