We are seeking a Mortgage Processing Specialist to handle the administrative aspects of the mortgage loan application process. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient mortgage experience for clients by coordinating with lenders, underwriters, borrowers, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Loan Processing & Coordination

  • Review mortgage loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Gather, verify, and organize required documentation from borrowers.
  • Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and lenders to ensure timely processing.
  • Track loan applications and ensure all deadlines are met.

• Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan process.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and answer any questions about loan status.
  • Work closely with realtors, attorneys, and title companies to facilitate a smooth closing process.

• Compliance & Documentation Management

  • Ensure all loan files comply with federal, state, and lender regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files, updating records as needed.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in loan applications.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in mortgage processing or a related field.
• Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in mortgage processing software and loan origination systems.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, guidelines, and regulations.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
